I grew up farming and ranching with my family in Southeast Colorado. I graduated from High school in Altamont, Kansas. I attended 1 year college in Parsons, Kansas. I was a member of 4-H and showed beef cattle and horses. When I turned 20, I enlisted in the Navy. I was in the Navy for 11.5 years. In 1978 I took a job with USDA, In Ft Collins, Colorado. After 28 years I retired and my wife, Gloria and I moved to Carthage, Missouri. After 3 years of boring retirement, I went to Real Estate school. I am a member of the Disabled American Veterans, National Association of Realtors, Ozark Gateway Association of Realtors and First Christian Church of Carthage, Missouri.
